- Jazz Guitar ii-V-I Voicings. This is a great introductory video on how to voice ii-V-I changes on guitar in a consistent manner, with options for very simple voicings all the way through advanced alterations. All of his examples are in the key of C (Dm7-G7-CM7), but they can be moved up or down the fretboard depending on in what key your ii-V-I occurs. Check it out!
Instrument Technique
- Guitar Chord Builder. Chordbook is a wonderful internet-based tool that helps you build all sorts of different chord types, both in root position and inversion, and it will play them back so you can compare what you’re playing to what it recommends. Great for jazz guitarists learning basic chords.
