Since we’re entering the chamber music portion of our year, I thought it might be useful to post examples of chamber ensembles that exhibit both a high level of technical mastery but also (and perhaps more importantly) a keen ability to communicate with each other through gesture and movement. Take special note, when watching this group, of how they:
- Clearly communicate entrances, cutoffs, tempos and phrasing through speed of movement and breath
- Physically show the character and the energy of the piece (Animato-animated!).
